We're part of the
p4p committee..a committee made of selected people that handles p4p
re-launches.
P4P stands for Pay for Performance, an incentive
program in our company.
The committee has been
handling these events for almost two years now. we started with the Philippines
launch, then we created a replica of the Taj Mahal for the India launch, and we
even made an "academy awards" themed launch.
For the first
quarter of this year, the theme was evolution...so after much brain-storming and
mulling over each other's ideas, the committee came up with a unified plan....
the idea was to create a fashion show, depicting the different era's - 70's, 80's, 90's, even the future...& so assignments were
designated... Marco, the
brainchild for the design concepts, conceptualized a life-sized robot = looking
like the one in the movie "Robots."
the P4P robot is made of about 97% styropor, with lights on it's chest and eyes and some wires connecting the limbs.. due to
time constraints and limited resources, we weren't really able to add more
detail to it.
so here's how it was created....
